2026 CRC Calendar

The 2026 Canadian Ringette Championships run from 29 March to 4 April 2026 in Ottawa, Ontario. Fifty teams from across Canada, representing the best of their provinces in U16AA, U19AA and National Ringette League divisions will compete in 179 games throughout the week with divisional champions decided on Medals Day Saturday, April 4. 
Below is the calendar of events for this year's CRCs.

Saturday
March 28

Pre-CRC experience

Superhero Night with the Ottawa Black Bears, Ottawa’s high-entertainment National Lacrosse League team. Ringette teams may be highlighted during the game and may be invited to participate in gametime activations.  Bring your knowledge of the commonalities of ringette and lacrosse. Wear your jerseys proudly! This event is not formally part of the CRCs, but offers a fun night celebrating sport with our friends at the Black Bears.

Sunday
March 29

Team Kit Pickup, Opening Ceremonies & Skills Competition

09h00 – 12h00:  Team kit pickup (team managers only; bring a friend to carry player gifts)

  • Nepean Sportsplex, Hall F (follow in-venue signs)

If you are a PTSO or provincial team 1, please drop off one provincial rep jersey kit (dark and light) during kit pickup. Mark the jerseys clearly with contact information; they will be returned at the end of the closing ceremonies.


12 h 00 – 14 h 00:   Team assembly for athlete parade

  • Nepean Sportsplex, Pad 2  (follow in-venue signs)

Teams assemble onsite to prepare for parade into Yzerman Arena for Opening Ceremonies

14 h 00 – 16 h 00: Opening Ceremonies

  • Nepean Sportsplex, Yzerman arena. 

​

Parade of athletes, welcome messages, oaths of players, coaches, and parents.
 

16 h 00 – 18 h 00: Skills competition

  • Nepean Sportsplex, Yzerman arena. 

​

Nominated players participate in competitions of speed, shooting of the ring, goaltending, and more.  To follow along, check out the competition descriptions and rules here (English only; French to follow).

Note 1 – capacity is limited; tickets may be made available for purchase closer to the event. Opening ceremonies & skills competition are included in the Competition Lite passes. Quantities are limited.

​

Note 2 – concessions will be available for purchase on the concourse of Yzerman Arena during this event.

Quarter and semi-final matches. The field draws smaller, but the compete level goes higher! Special events include Come Try Ringette and Ringette-For-All (sponsored by the Gloucester and Area Adult Ringette Association) and a CRC Media Game with local media and celebrities (Sponsored by David Hollingsworth and Associates, Personal Injury Lawyers)

All games will be played at Bell (Kanata) Sensplex.There will be NO games at Tony Graham Recreation Centre

Presentation of medal winners, division champions. Awards presentations for all-star selections, and skills competition winners.  Messages of thanks and farewell from dignitaries and VIPs.
